How Could I Help?

As you have discovered from cruising through this site, supporting and educating twenty-four children is no small task.  It takes time and a great deal of money -- more money than can be made by the Veiyo Tonle Restaurant.  We must call upon the generous support of contributors to supplement the devoted efforts and resourced of Neth and Thawee.

It is in this spirit of generosity that we invite you to support these wonderful kids.  Of course, if you happen to be in Phnom Peny it's easy to help directly by coming to the Veiyo Tonle Restaurant, meeting with Neth and visiting the children's quarters.  Contributions of money, food, education material and your time will be greatly appreciated.

Basically, any funds sent from your bank are not wired directly to Cambodia.  First, funds are wired to the American Express Bank  in New Youk.  They then wire the founds to the Cambodian Mekong Bank in Phnom Penh.  Of course, money can be wired via Western Union and can be remitted in Phnom Penh within one day.  However, Western Union charges are huge (perhaps as high as 15%). 

Another Idea!

Each year requires about $700 to support and care for each child.  We welcome you to figuratively "symbolically adopt" a child and send this amount each year for the support of one of the kids.  He or she would "get to know you" and email communications between you and "your child" would grow as their English skills improve.  Although not an actual adoption, we are sure that you would none the less feel a special closeness to the child of your choice.  It would be rewarding for you to follow the child's progress.  Please email if you are interested.  Click on "Contact Us" below if interested.
